About
Ands House:
Atatürk Bulvarı üzerinde Kuğulu Park’a bitişik olan ev ünlü mimar Emin Onat’ın
tasarımıdır. 1955 yılında tamamlanan ev dışta ve içte İkinci Ulusal Mimarlık
Dönemi’nin özelliklerini taşımaktadır. Bulvar üzerindeki imar düzeninin
değiştirilerek yüksek yapıların inşa edilmesi ile evin çevresel ilişkileri
olumsuz yönde etkilenmiştir. Belli bir geometrisi olmayan evin plan düzeni,
işlevsel ve akılcı modern mimarlık özelliklerini yansıtır. Evin basık kemerli
ana girişine Atatürk Bulvarı tarafındaki ön bahçeden ulaşılır. Zemin katta
odalar ve servis mekânlarından başka “L” planlı bir salon ile yemek salonu
bulunmaktadır. Salonda bulunan ocak, tavan ve bazı dolap nişleri geleneksel
Türk Konut Mimarlığının izlerini taşır. Zemin kattaki salonun bir köşesinde
temiz işçiliği ile dikkat çeken mermer bir merdivenle üst kata ulaşılır. Üst
katta ortadaki dikdörtgen planlı salonun iki yanma yatak odaları ve servis
mekânları yerleştirilmiştir. Salonun arka bahçeye bakan tarafında çatıdan ışık
alan, zemin kötü salondan daha yüksek bir kütüphane düzenlemesi görülmektedir.
Beyaz rengin hâkim olduğu cephe oldukça yalın olarak düzenlenmiştir. Bulvara
bakan giriş cephesinde geleneksel Ankara Evleri’nde olduğu gibi kademeli olarak
yapılmış olan üst kat çıkması ile üstündeki pencere düzenlemesi dikkat
çekmektedir. Ön tarafta olduğu gibi sade düzenlenen arka tarafta bir de havuz
bulunmaktadır. Evin üstünü organik biçimli alaturka kiremitle kaplı ahşap bir
kırma çatı örter. Ankara’nın müzik hayatında önemli bir yer tutan evin zemin katında
giriş holünden sonra gelen merdivenli salonda halen, Sevda-Cenap And Müzik
Vakfı tarafından konserler düzenlenmektedir.

("loggionista") at Milan's La Scala gallery since the 1930s.
Association Founder: She helped found the
Amici del Loggione association to promote musical culture and support opera
lovers.
Chronicle Work: She contributed significantly
to historical documentation on the theater, including co-authoring/co-editing
chronological works on La Scala's performances and artists (such as [La
Scala 67-92 - Spettacoli e personaggi]).

La Tilde...A passo di valchiria la incontravi, da sempre,
dove c'era una iniziativa intelligente e appassionante. Amava l'energia forte
della vita: mare, montagna, fiori, viaggi, la ricerca di cui era
aggiornatissima, e sopratutto l'arte, il teatro, la musica, l'opera, sua
passione divampante. Faceva opinione per la prontezza intelligente,
l'esperienza, la frequentazione di tanti artisti amici da Nina e Paolo Grassi a
Renata Tebaldi. Amava esserci, non apparire, ed è difficile trovare sue
fotografie, se non catturate a sorpresa in privato come questa che scattai ad
Arenzano a casa di Leyla Gencer. Un ricordo del suo sfrenato amore per l'opera.
Mi raccontò che una sera era arrivata tardi alla Scala per ascoltare "Don
Carlo". Era, allora, presenza di casa e qualcuno le offrì di sedere sullo
sgabello di chi apre e chiude il sipario. Immersione da paradiso... quando
sentì salire dall'orchestra le battute che preparano la grande aria di Filippo
II, la sua prediletta, ebbe la tentazione di entrare in scena e cantarla.
Dovette veramente lottare a unghie e pugni per frenare le ginocchia pronte allo
